BOE, Chairman

My wife, Linda, and I moved to Winchester in 2008. Prior to that I lived in Bethany CT where I served on the Bethany Board of Education for twelve years, and was chairman of that board for six years.

I owned and operated a manufacturing business for thirty years and sold the business in 2008 just prior to moving to Winchester. Linda taught art at the Woodbury Middle School and retired in 2016.

I am pleased to be a member of the board of education. We educate our children not just to provide for their success as adults but for our own success as a community and society. This is, in my opinion, an essential investment that must be made with thoughtfulness and care. Community input and support is critical to this process and the board of education is an important bridge between our townspeople and our schools. I look forward to working with my fellow board members and the school administrators as we seek to improve the Winchester Schools.
