Pearson School is a vibrant learning community emphasizing academic achievement, physical and social-emotional wellness, and engagement in the arts. Pearson teachers provide an unwavering commitment to the success and well-being of nearly three hundred students in grades three through six. Pearson proudly houses a school-based health center, which offers immediate access to primary care, counseling, and dental services. We provide the foundation for every child to become successful in the 21st Century via an engaging and rigorous curriculum, 1:1 access to technology, a variety of after school activities in the CHAMPs Program, and a strong partnership with families and community members.

On the morning of February 12th, guest readers visited classrooms at Batcheller and Pearson Schools as part of the 29th Annual Read Aloud Day sponsored by the Northwest Chamber of Commerce, The Draper Fund, and the Y Literacy Volunteers. Books were chosen by area Reading Teachers, Librarians, and Language Arts Consultants. We were excited to have community members visit our schools to help promote literacy in our classrooms.
