Renata Waldron

I was born in Poland and came to the United States at the age of three.  I grew up in Northwest Connecticut and have resided in Winsted for over 20 years.  I'm married to Jarod Waldron and have three amazing children, all of which attended the Winchester Schools.  I also have three spunky grandchildren that I absolutely adore.

I entered the field of education in1990 as a paraeducator and went on to become a special education teacher in 2003.  Currently, as the Out of District Coordinator for Torrington Public Schools, I ensure that the needs of students who are educated outside the district are met.  My entire life has been devoted to providing all students the best education possible in a caring and supportive environment.

I hold a BS in special education from the University of Saint Joseph and an MA in curriculum and instruction.  In 2019 I earned a 6th-year certificate in educational leadership from the University of Bridgeport.
