Jeannette Brodeur

Jeannette has worked as a journalist for more than 30 years for a wide variety of publications throughout CT, NJ, and PA. She is a graduate of Southern CT State University with a BS in journalism. Before moving to Winsted in 2020, Jeannette served as an active member and President of the Plymouth Special Education PTA (SEPTA). She participated in the CT Parent Advocacy Program at NCCC and served on the Plymouth School district’s search committee to select a new Special Education Director. Jeannette also ran the district's Reflections Program that celebrated student creativity in the arts. She currently serves as a board member for the FOCUS Center for Autism in Canton and works as Communications Assistant for the State of CT Office of the Probate Court Administrator. Jeannette and her husband Todd are mom and step-dad to three young adults.
