Jeannette Brodeur

Jeannette has worked as a journalist for more than 30 years for a wide variety of publications throughout CT, NJ, and PA. She is a graduate of Southern CTState University with a BS in journalism.  Before moving to  Winsted in 2020, Jeannette served as an active member and Presiden of the Plymouth Special Education PTA (SEPTA).  She participated in the CT Parent Advocacy Program at NCCC and served on the Plymouth School districts search committee to select a new Special Education Director.  Jeannette also ran the district's Reflections Program that celebrated student creativity in the arts. She currently serves as the Chairman of the FOCUS Center for Autism. Jeannette and her husband Todd are mom and step-dad to three children: Harley, 26, Aaron, 22, and Jillian, 19.
