Chrissy Rylander

Education:

I grew up in Torrington and attended Plymouth State University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics.

Occupation:

I currently work as a Data Secretary in the Special Education Department for Torrington Public Schools. In this role, I support educators and administrators by ensuring accurate and efficient data management to help meet the needs of all students.

Accomplishments:

Throughout my career, I have been committed to supporting students, staff, and families through collaboration, organization, and a strong attention to detail. As a parent, I have also been an active participant in school and community events that strengthen the connection between families and our schools.

Reasons for being on the Board of Education:

As a parent of two children in Winchester Public Schools, I am deeply invested in the success of our students and the continued growth of our district. I believe in fostering a positive and respectful working relationship among board members, educators, and the community to ensure that every decision keeps students at the center.

I have been a proud resident of Winchester since 2019 and am committed to serving our community with integrity, transparency, and dedication.
